In its second edition COOLJAZZFEST strived to give the concept of this new festival its continuation, taking on the name CooljazzFest, Great Mix. A fusion of sounds at outdoor spaces endowed with plenty of history, in Cascais, Oeiras and Mafra – although still at an embryonic stage – battled to find its position as an event of reference in the Portuguese musical panorama. This was proven by the quality of the artists on the 2005 programme - Jaime Cullum, Marianne Faithfull, José Feliciano, Us3, Mariza, Thievery Corporation and Maria Bethânia.
